The Sheriff's Office has one full-time deputy assigned to the Onamia School District. This position is a liaison between the school district, the Sheriff's Office, and the County Attorney's Office. This is a critical position providing a safe environment for the children of the Onamia School District. The School Resource Officer also teaches the DARE program to the students. There are also two deputies that teach DARE in the Isle School District and the Pease Christian School.
