Responsibilities
This division of the Mille Lacs County Sheriff's Office is responsible for serving court papers. Every Sheriff in the State of Minnesota must serve the process of the courts. The Civil Process Division is responsible for just that, serving orders of the court. Paper service happens in nearly every aspect of civil and criminal court proceedings.
