DWI and drug abuse offenders are often directed to attend AA/NA meetings by their probation officers, treatment centers or the Court to aide their sobriety efforts. If you are directed to attend AA/NA meetings, you will need to locate a meeting that is convenient for you, attend meetings as directed, have your sponsor or another AA/NA member sign a verification form, and provide the verification forms to your probation officer as directed.
